spring foliage!

Yesterday was Stu's Pap's birthday. Here is the card I made for him - lovely and spring like. The photo looks really light, sorry about that!

Spring Leaves

Stamp Set: French Foliage, Happiest Birthday Wishes (Hostess)
Ink: So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Wild Wasabi
Cardstock: Naturals Ivory

This was a really simple card but I wanted to have a go making a pretty but masculine-ish card using the french foliage set. I think most people look att he set and see autumn but its a versatile set - love it! So I rock and rolled the leaves in So Saffron and Certainly Celery stamping twice before reinking to give more shading and layers. I then stamped 5 leaves on some extra cardstock, rock and rolling in So Saffron, Certainly Celery and very lightly in Wild Wasabi around the edges. I cut these leaves out and adheres them using dimensionals. Finally I stamped the sentiment at the bottom in Wild Wasabi.
Oh I also stamped 3 leaves in a row on the bottom of the inside of the card but alas I didn't take a photo - it was a nice finishing touch to the card! I hope Pap liked it!

What do you think? Please do leave me a comment, I love reading them.

a little bit of dinoroar.

Stuart's second cousin, Harry, was 6 on Sunday. He's had mumps and has been sick for the past 3 weeks, we're glad he is getting better and just in time to enjoy his birthday as well! This is the card I made for his birthday.

Four Dinosaurs

Stamp Set: Dinoroar
Ink: Basic Black, Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz, Wild Wasabi, River Rock, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Wild Wasabi, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso

So I stamped the dinosaurs and then cut them all down to 4" square so only part of the dinosaur is visible! I coloured in the dinosaurs with my stampin' write markers, mounted them on some early espresso and then adheres then to the cardbase! A really simple card but very fun!

simply stampin' challenge week 48

We are back to a theme challenge over at the Simply Stampin' Challenge blog this week. And this week's theme is as follows...

Lace

To be honest I thought it would be easy but when it came down to making something I just got a bit stuck. So I googled lace and had a look at some images of lace hoping that I would be struck with some inspiration! Here's where it led me...

Floral Lace Pearl Anniversary

Stamp Set: n/a
Ink: n/a
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Vellum Paper
Punch: Boho Blossoms, Itty Bitty
Big Shot: Blossom Party, Simple Numbers
Accessories: Pearls, Frost White Shimmer Mist

I decided to make some of my own lace. I punched and die cut a load of different flowers all in Very Vanilla cardstock and then adhered them all down to some vellum paper so they all interlocked like a lace pattern. I used vellum so that I could get the translucent quality. I then cut out the centre of my card and cut down the vellum to fit the card. I added a few more flowers over the top of the larger flowers just to add a little more subtle detail and then embellished the whole thing with pearls - in all honesty I started adding a couple and just couldn't stop, before I knew it they al had pearls on them! I misted it lightly with the shimmer mist.
Now I thought it would be a shame to spoil such a gorgeous pattern with a sentiment so I cut out 30  in Vanilla with the simple numbers die, spritzed with the shimmer mist and then adhered to the inside. By using Vanilla for the lettering it ensured that it wouldn't sow through and ruin the outside of the card!

Finally just want to finish off with showing a close-up for the "lace" pattern held up to the sky!

Oh one final thing, This would look stunning if you cut the card front off after you're finished with the card and put it in a frame!! Imagine putting this in a window with a clear backing so the sun can stream through - great patterns!

Please head on over to the Simply Stampin' Challenge blog to see what lace-y creations the other design team members have created and then create your own! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Thanks for stopping by!

wreath class

I have been meaning to put up a photo for a week or so now of the flower wreath that I made for this month's class - so you could see what the lovely class girlies had fun making and what you all missed out on! Finally I got around to photographing it and uploading it for you all to see! It was super fun making it and the girls that came to the class really seemed to enjoy making it!

Ink: Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, So Saffron, Peach Parfait
Cardstock: Whisper White, Very Vanilla, So Saffron, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz, Wild Wasabi
Punches: Owl Builder, Blossom Builder, Itty Bitty, Circle (Various Sizes)
Big Shot: Blossom Party die, Little Leaves Sizzlit
Ribbon: Wild Wasabi Striped Grosgrain
Extras: Sponges, Polystyrene Wreath

How gorgeous is that?! I love mine and have it hanging in my living room on the door - our wall is painted in Wild Wasabi so it fits in really nicely!

If you missed out and would like to create something lovely for your house why not come long to March's class and make some pretty bunting (to die for!!!) using the pennants die and big shot! I will upload a photo of my bunting beginning of next week for you all to see!

Please do leave me a comment, I love reading them!

soft sympathy

Sympathy cards are some of the hardest cards one has to make - they're not really cards I really enjoy making because there's always a sad reason why its being made. Anyway I have a little sympathy card I made this week to show you.

Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Simply Soft
Ink: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Early Espresso, Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Pear Pizzazz
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Pretty in Pink, Soft Suede
Ribbon: Pretty in Pink Satin
Accessories: Champagne Shimmer Paint (Mist)=

I stamped and coloured in the blossoms from the Simply Soft stamp set and then mounted on some Soft Suede and Pretty in Pink cardstock. I tied some ribbon around the card and stamped the sympathy sentiment from Teeny tiny wishes below. Finally I adhered the blossom branch to the card and finished it with a glittery spritz of champagne shimmer paint.

Thanks for stopping by,

flowers for anna

One of the lovely ladies that comes every month to my classes had her birthday last week so I made her a little card, and here we go...

Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Rose Red, So Saffron
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Wild Wasabi, Baja Breeze, So Saffron, Rose Red
Punch: Itty Bitty, Boho Blossoms
Big Shot: Square Lattice Emboss Folder, Little Leaves Sizzlit
Accessories: Pearls
Extras: Sponge

I adhered the leaves down to the vanilla cardstock and then ran it through the embossing folder. I then sponged it very lightly with  So Saffron ink. I punched out a bunch of flowers and adhered them together in a small spray. This was adhered to some Rose REd and Baja Breeze cardstock and then to a card base. I finished it off by adding a sentiment below and a few pearls! Cute and sping-like!

Do you like it? Hope you enjoyed seeing it!

Thanks for stopping by, please do leave a comment!

penguin fest!

It was my mother-in-law's birthday on Saturday so obviously I needed to make her a special card! She LOVES penguins and seeing as I recently got the owl punch I thought I would put it to good use and make some penguins out of it!

Pop-Up Penguin Fest

Stamp Set: Outlined Occasions (SAB)
Ink: Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Peach Parfait
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, Baja Breeze, Peach Parfait
Accessories: Lemon Baker's Twine
Punch: Owl Builder, Itty Bitty, 1 3/4" Circle
Big Shot: Sweet Buttons Embosslit, Blossom Party Die
Extras: Sponge

Now, its super easy to make the owl punch into  a penguin! All I did was cut off the ears! I also cut off the feet and added peach parfait feet instead! I cut out tiny little triangles as beaks! They were accented with little flowers and hearts! Cute as!
Now, I don't do pop up cards! The last time I made a pop up card I must have been about 14! However I did a little google search to get a few ideas for card design and saw a really cute pop up card with the penguins so I thought why not! I made the steps and added penguins inside. I also sponged the edges before sticking this piece of cardstock onto the card base.
On the front of the card I added a large banner with Celebrate on it, coloured with the markers and sponged. I layered up the large flower from the Blossom Party die, circle punch and then topped with a penguin. I finally wrapped some baker's twine around the card and added a bow to both sides. On the inside I also added a embossed button.

My MIL loved it! She was so pleased with it and was really surprised to see the pop ups inside!

Do you love it too? Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

simply stampin' challenge week 47

This week it is another colour challenge over on the Simply Stampin' Challenge blog. I've been looking forward to this one - its time to flaunt your girly side and get down with the pinks and purples. Here we go...

These colours match some of the papers in Stampin' Up!'s Flirtatious DSP so I thought it was time to whack it out and get cracking! If you don't have all the colours listed, no worries, just use the closest ones that you do have!

Doilies and Butterflies

Stamp Set: Teen Tiny Wishes
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Whisper White
DSP: Flirtatious
Big Shot: Beautiful Wings Embosslit, Top Note
Accessories: Pearls
Extras: Colour Spritzer, Sponges

So I wanted to try something different and I had the idea that I wanted to use the top note negative as a mask so that I could sponge the top note shape onto the card. I then sponged the masked area with Pretty in Pink ink. Next I tacked down one of the doilies from the die cut sheet in the Flirtatious paper and using the Colour Spritzer and my Melon Mambo marker I spritzed it well to give the doily outline! I was planning on using the correct side of the Mambo doily next to the spritzed one but it was a bit too dominant - then I had an idea - to cut out the centre of the doily and use what remained as a frame! Inside I stamped the sentiment and then used the butterflies embosslit to cut some cute little butterflies from the Flirtatious DSP. I added some pearls to finish it off.
I thought it would be a shame not to use the centre of the doily so I used it to decorate the inside of the card and added a couple more butterflies!

Wow long explanation today - sorry about that! So what do you think? I hope you liked it! Please leave me a comment and then head on over to the Simply Stampin' Challenge blog to see the rest of the design team entries and then enter yourself! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Friday 17 February 2012

owls!

Yesterday was my friend Kathryn's birthday. I thought I'd show you her card!

Spice Cake Owls

Stamp Set: n/a
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, More Mustard, Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party
DSP: Spice Cake
Punch: Owl Builder, Itty Bitty
Accessories: Pearls, Crystal Effects

Isn't it darling?! The owl builder punch punches out all the bits you need to make these adorable little owls. I added some Spice Cake DSP in there to make them extra cute and finished them off with some little flowers, pearls and crystal effects.

I hope you liked this little creation. It was made especially for Kat as she loves owls!

there's no business like snow business!

Something different for y'all today...not a piece of paper in sight! A few weeks ago we had some pretty awesome snow! We don't get lots so when we do get it I go a little nuts and try to make the most of it! I really love building things with the snow!

So when we got snow a couple weeks ago Stuart and I went for a midnight wander around a very picturesque reservoire near where we live for a little walk through the freshly falling snow. After we'd had a really gorgeous walk we decided to build something. It ended up being VERY big and really fun!

Herman our snow head! We had so much fun together, it was definitely worth going out super late and feeling shattered afterwards!

I hope you enjoyed seeing our creation.

Have a great day!

bunting and stitching...

Good day people!

Recently I've been getting a little bit addicted to Pinterest - an online pinboard where you can pin links to things you love! So I found a blog that I have fallen in love with, its by a German Stampin' Up! demonstrator called Jenni. Her cards are GORGEOUS!!! The following card I created is a CASE of a card she made...

Bunting & Flowers

Stamp Set: n/a
Ink: n/a
Cardstock: Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride
DSP: Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride (Retired Hostess)
Punch: Boho Blossoms
Ribbon: Whisper White Satin
Accessories: Rhinestones, Frost White Shimmer Mist
Extras: Sewing Machine

I just cut snake tongues into the end of lots of little bits of cardstock and DSP and then used a tiny bit of adhesive to tack everything in place. I even added a few flowers using the Boho Blossoms punch, then I ran the piece through the sewing machine. I added a couple more flowers and then embellished it with lots of tiny rhinestones! I finished it off by mounting it on some more cardstock and then sprtizing it with some shimmer mist! What do you think?

Below is Jenni's card. To view more of her blog go here.

Adore this!

21 cupcakes

My cousin was 21 last month and therefore it called for a special card! I've already shown you the "twenty one" card that I was commissioned to make by my cousin so I knew I wanted to do something really different. Here's what I made...

21 Cupcakes

Stamp Set: Create a Cupcake
Ink: Soft Suede, Perfect Plum, Peach Parfait, Rose Red, Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Pear Pizazz, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip
Cardstock:  Perfect Plum, Peach Parfait, Rose Red, Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Pear Pizazz, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Red Glitter cardstock
Big Shot: Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder
Punch: Cupcake Builder

So this card was small but VERY long! It concertinaed and each side had a piece of polka dot embossed cardstock and a cupcake on it! Each one was different but using a mixture of the above colours. Quite a complex card but I felt I needed a challenge and it turned out way cool in the end! Not a card I would make often but for a special birthday one is entitled to such a card! I hope she liked it!

Do you like it? If you don't have this stamp set and punch already I would highly recommend getting it as its so much fun and so easy to whip up. A lot less mess and hassle than baking them and ZERO calories!!! Yay!

Happy Stampin'!

Sunday 12 February 2012

sammy's birthday

Good Morning folks!

A really quick post for you today - busy weekend and all that! It was my friend Sammy's birthday on Thursday so Kat and I took her out for the day. We had some lovely paninis for lunch and then went to a ceramics cafe to paint something. Its crazily addictive! So here is Sammy's birthday card.

Stamp Set: Everything Eleanor, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Wild Wasabi
Ribbon: Rich Razleberry Striped Grosgrain (Retired), Very Vanilla Taffeta
Punches: 1 3/8" Circle, Itty Bitty
Accessories: Pearls, Brights Brads

So I stamped the flourish in the background and then added some of the striped grosgrain ribbon - I tied a bit of the taffeta ribbon to break up the shape a bit. I then made a rather 3D flower with the Everyday Elegance DSP, added it just under the ribbon and then added a few more smaller flowers with the Itty Bitty punch. I stamped the sentiment and did dashed stitching around the edge of the Wild Wasabi before adhering it to the Vanilla cardbase. To finish it off I added a few little pearls!

Thanks for stopping by!

simply stampin' challenge week 46

Sketch challenge this week folks! So without further ado, here it is...

I have to admit I took one look at this and thought, woah, that's a bit full on! And in all honesty I struggled with this for ages. In the end I made it work for me but I had to jiggle things around a bit. Hope you like what I ended up with!

Fresh Floral Birthday

Stamp Set: Fresh Vintage, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Baja Breeze, Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, Lucky Limeade
Cardstock: Very Vanilla
DSP: Everyday Elegance
Punches: Bird, Scallop Trim Border
Accessories: Pearls

I used the colours in the Everyday Elegance DSP to colour in the Fresh Vintage flowers. I used some of the Poppy Parade DSP to do a the borders. I cut out the flowers and and placed them around the main floral image with some little sprigs of leaves cut from the Bird Builder punch to finish it off! I stamped the sentiment on a little banner and placed it just coming out of the bottom flowers.

Please check out the other design team entries over at the Simply Stampin' Challenge blog! I look forward to seeing what you create.

Happy Stampin',

Birthday Bunch

Sorry for the super poor quality of this photo - can't wait til its summer and its light for longer so I can photograph outside in the sunshine and warmth!

Today's card was for my downline, Sue, co-incidentally also my auntie-in-law.

Birthday Bunch

Stamp Set: Everything Eleanor, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Crumb Cake, Wild Wasabi, Perfect Plum
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Wild Wasabi, Perfect Plum
Punch: Scallop Circle, Corner Rounder
Accessories: Linen Thread

I wanted to just try and make a little bit of a different card using my favourite stamp set, Everything Eleanor! I cracked out the stem - not one I've felt inspired to use until now! So I stamped the stem twice and then using the scallop circle and cutting each petal almost to the centre wrapped them up tightly and adhered them to the Vanilla cardbase. I used the fancy frame down the side, stamping it 3 times without reinking for differing shades. Finally I stamped the sentiment in Perfect Plum and tied some linen thread around the stems. Hope you liked this little one.

Catch you tomorrow for another Simply Stampin' Challenge!

Easy Cupcakes

Just a couple really super quick and simple birthday cards for you today using Easy Events! I love that this set has a great set of images for all kinds of cards you need to make, and also has sentiments!

Easy Cupcake

Stamp Set: Easy Events
Ink: Early Espresso, Perfect Plum, Pretty in Pink, Baja Breeze, Wild Wasabi, Crumb Cake
Cardstock: Whisper White, Perfect Plum, Pretty in Pink
Punches: Scallop Circle, 1 3/8" Circle, Corner Rounder
Ribbon: White Satin
Extras: Paper Piercer & Mat Pack

Okay really easy one here, I stamped the cupcake on Whisper White cardstock and then coloured it in with the markers and punched it out with a circle punch. I punched a scallop circle from the same colour cardstock as the cupcake frosting and used the paper piercer to pierce a hole in each scallop - it just adds a little more interest to a very simple card. I stamped the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner of the card. I wanted a really clean look so used White ribbon for a subtle tone on tone effect, added the cupcake topper and rounded the bottom left hand corner! This is a fab card to have on hand for those birthdays that you forget or come up faster than you were expecting yet still looks really pretty. Do you like it? I hope you do!

Happy Stampin',

Amanda xoxo

Wednesday 8 February 2012

everything eleanor

So I thought I'd take a break from showing you cards for valentine's day and cards with hearts today and show you the Mother's day card that we made on Monday at card club.

Eleanor Mum

Stamp Set: Everything Eleanor, For my Family
Ink: Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Certainly Celery, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Pearls

I first stamped the large frame in Pretty in Pink at the bottom of the Vanilla cardstock. then covered it in a mask of the same shape (cut out of printer paper and with tombow - gone tacky and removeable) and stamped the flourishes in the background for some height and depth. Remove the mask and then ink up the fancy frame, I stamped off on scrap paper for a lighter look and then stamped to the side of the large frame. Next I added the sentiment and the birdie in Early Espresso as well as stamping some of the flowers on some scrap Vanilla. I also ran the edges of the Vanilla cardstock on the Espresso ink pad for a very slight touch of colour before adhering it to the Certainly Celery card base. I coloured in the flowers with Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose to get a deep shaded effect and help them pop out from the subtle background. I used dimensionals to adhere them to the card and finished off with pearls.

This is a lovely card that showcases almost every single stamp in this stunning set! It was one of my favourites and still it! I love it!!

If you missed Monday night's card club and would like to have a go at making this yourself, I have a couple spots left on Friday night, 7:30-9:30pm. Call me on 01604949827 or email me at amanda_burditt@hotmail.co.uk to reserve your seat! Can't wait to see you there!

heart on a line

Last night was my first ever card club. I had 6 lovely ladies come and we all had a great time! In fact I have had such a good response to my card club that I have added another date for this month - this Friday (Feb 10th)! I have 4 ladies booked on already, if you would like to come along and make 5 great cards for £7.50, its not too late! Call me on 01604 949827 or email me on amanda_burditt@hotmail.co.uk to book you place!

This is one of the cards that we made this month....

Heart on a Line

Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Wishes, I {heart} Hearts
Ink: Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder
Cardstock: Whisper White, Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder
Punch: Cupcake Builder
Big Shot: Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder
Accessories: Linen Thread, Mini Clothes Peg
Extras: Sponges

So the edges of the cardstock were sponged lightly. The "clouds" are punched from the cupcake builder and run through the big shot for some texture. Linen thread was wrapped around the pool party cardstock and tied in a bow. Finally I stamped and cut out a heart and added it to the line with the mini clothes peg. Lastly I stamped a sentiment at the bottom in Wisteria.

Hope you liked this cute little card - its very cheery!

Happy Stampin,

Amanda x

love is in the air

Indeed, love is in the air! So a really easy card for Valentine's Day - its just around the corner - have you made your Valentine's card yet? I love an excuse to send cards and let someone know that you're thinking of them. And that's the lovely thing about Valentine's Day, its a great day to take a little extra time out to send a card to the people you care most about and thank them for being special to you! Come on, you all know you love getting post and knowing that you are loved! Take some time and send a few cards this season to the people who matter!

Love, Sweet Friend

Stamp Set: You Are Loved
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Wisteria Wonder, Peach Parfait, Chocolate Chip
Cardstock: Whisper White
Punch: Decorative Label

I coloured in the flowery, flourishes in the Valentine's Day stamp and stamped onto the cardstock. I then coloured in and stamped the Love stamp onto a scrap of Whisper White and punched out with the decorative label punch and adhered it with dimensionals to the card base so that the flourishes spread out from the frame. Fonally I stamped Sweet Love underneath. Simple and elegant!

Do you like it? Who are you going to send a card to and thank for being special to you this Valentine's Day?

Thanks for dropping by!

Happy Stampin',

every little bit

Nothing incredibly new today - this is another version of a card I made about a year ago. This is just a little bit more of a girlie updated version! Enjoy!

Handbags and Gladrags

Stamp Set: Every Little Bit
Ink: Basic Black, Peach Parfait, Pretty in Pink, Real Red, Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron
Cardstock: Whisper White, Sahara Sand
Ribbon: Pretty in Pink Satin
Punch: 1" Circle, Corner Rounder
Extra: Paper Crimper

I stamped the purses and perfume bottles on Whisper White cardstock and used the markers to colour them in then punched them out with the circle punch. I rounded the top two corners and crimped the bottom of a Sahara Sand cardbase. I them adhered all the circles down in two rows with dimensionals, added some ribbon and finally did a faux stitching line around the edge of the cardstock.

Hope you have a brilliant day,

Catch you tomorrow!

simply stampin' challenge week 45

We are back on a theme challenge this week at the Simply Stampin' Challenge blog. And the theme this time is Heartfelt - just in time for Valentine's day. Aww, sweet!

So for this week's creation, here is one of the cards that you can at my card club on Monday night!

Friend Valentine

Stamp Set: I {Heart} Hearts, Teen Tiny Wishes
Ink: Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery, Perfect Plum
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery
Punch: Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border
Accessories: Linen Thread, Basic Pearls

I stamped the flourish heart in Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery and Perfect Plum in a line on Vanilla cardstock. I stamped the LOVE heart in Perfect Plum and used a dimensional to adhere it to the Baja Breeze heart. For the middle heart I stamped the Friend heart and cut out the middle section and adhered that to the centre of the Certainly Celery flourish heart. The bottom heart has a small linen thread bow and a pearl on it. I framed this piece of Vanilla cardstock with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch. I stamped the dotted heart all over the background in Certainly Celery ink on Certainly Celery cardstock for a tone on tone effect. Usually I don't stamp the inside of my cards but this time I decided to - at a slight angle, I stamped the dotted heart in Certainly Celery and then flourish heart inside the dotted one in Baja Breeze. I then stamped Happy Valentine's Day in Perfect Plum to finish off!

So, if you would like to make this card and 4 other gorgeous cards why not come along on Monday evening, from 7:30 - 9:30 to make them with some other lovely ladies. Complete with tea and cake! Cost is £7.50.

Now head over to the Simply Stampin' Challenge blog to see the other design team creations and then enter your own! I can't wait to see what you make!

Thanks for stopping by,

Happy Crafting,

Cardstock: Whisper White, Sahara Sand, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise
Punches: 3/4" Circle, 1" Circle
Big Shot: Polkadot Embossing Folder

I adhered circles down to the Sahara Sand cardstock and then ran it through the polkadot embossing folder. I used the markers to colour in the letters of the sentiment and made it into a snake tooth banner.

Do you like it? It was fun to make! I'm sure I will be making more of these in the future!

twenty one

My cousin asked me to make up some cards for her a while back. One of which was a special one for her sister's 21st birthday! Well, it was Victoria's birthday last week so now I can share the card I made with you all.

Stamp Set: Happiest Birthday Wishes
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry
Punch: 1" Circle, Corner Rounder
Big Shot: Alphabet Simple Letters die
Accessories: Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamonds

So I punched out the circles of cardstock in Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry for the bottom edge of the cardstock. Next I cut out the letters for the words 'twenty one' and adhered them down. I stamped the sentiment "it's your day!" above the lettering. Finally I covered the letters in crystal effects and then sprinkled in glitter to give it some extra pizzazz! Cute!

What do you think? Thanks for stopping by,

Amanda x
